Sometime in March 2010, @michaelaiello, @xtrat and @HockeyInJune had a thought: if they sat on an NYC street corner with a bunch of art supplies, what would happen? So they tried it. And to their surprise, people came, sat and drew. So many people that they quickly ran out of paper. It was art, literally, from the streets of NYC.
A few weeks later Mike reconnected with @brendanbaker and @cjwake at Twitter Chirp. Would the clever coders want to draw art as well? Yep. Even more. Check out their work here.
Apparently spontaneously drawing with strangers rocks. Want to try it yourself? Or just find out where we'll be next? Find us at @thestreetsof.
